About me and my work
I have been doing bead work for over 10 years. I specialize in bead embroidery, although I also like peyote stitch, spiral ropes and most all things to do with beading. It's my passion, obsession, therapy :) I'm a self-taught beader who decided I wanted to make some earrings, so I bought a book, the needed supplies and sat however long it took to learn that particular stitch, I believe it was brick stitch. The rest is history....I was HOOKED! Or obsessed...whichever you want to call it!
I have a very high quality control. I never use plastic in my art. I use only glass, stone, shell, pearls, bone, polymer clay, and other natural materials in my bead work.
I am soon going to buy a kiln and teach myself how to do PMC or Precious Metal Clay. Then I can make my own pendants and beads. I have dabbled in polymer clay and now grasp the basics so PMC can't be that hard.
I sell my work at numerous art shows in the state of Idaho and a few surrounding states. I sell on two artist-crafter websites. I am a member of several artist guilds on these sites and my work has been displayed in some collections.
All my work is unique and one-of-a-kind. There will never be another exactly like it. I will do custom orders, just let me know what you would like and I will do my best to make you happy!
